Appointments
Prairie Pediatric Dentistry understands that with school, activities and family, fitting in a dental appointment can be a challenge. Let us know what times might work best for you and we’ll do everything we can to take that into consideration when scheduling the appointment. One thing to keep in mind when scheduling is that early morning appointments tend to be more positive experiences for preschool children or children needing more substantial dental work. If both parents and children make good dental hygiene a priority, appointments during school can be infrequent.
We understand that sometimes things happen that make cancelling an appointment unavoidable. If you do need to cancel an appointment, we request 24 hours notice as a courtesy to us and all of our patients.
Insurance
Insurance can be confusing and overwhelming. Prairie Pediatric Dentistry strives to help you understand your dental insurance and enable you to make the most of your benefits. We will provide you with a treatment plan including a breakdown of all applicable fees and costs before patients receive treatment. Be aware that because of the variation of available insurance policies and the complexities of insurance contracts, we cannot guarantee coverage.
Your estimated patient portion must be paid at time of service. We will then submit the bill to your insurer and allow 30 days for them to send payment.
You will be responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full, after 60 days. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask any of our staff and they will help you as best they can.
Payment Options
Prairie Pediatric Dentistry accepts several forms of payment, including debit cards, cash, check, all major credit cards and Care Credit. We handle submissions of all insurance claims for you and will make every effort to make sure you receive your full benefits.
While you are ultimately responsible for your account, if your insurance company has not addressed your claims within 30 days let us know and we’ll make every effort to help.
